Tom also sent along some sample cartridges of Private Reserve DC Supershow Blue and Velvet Black, so I opted to try the Supershow blue first. I like it. It has a nice "electric" quality to it.

The Pelikano cap has no clip and has a triangular rubber grip for properly holding it while writing. It also has a medium nib that allows the ink to flow out smooth as chocolate milk. I really love the size of the pen. It is also a strong pen. I have already dropped it cap down three or four times and it is unfazed.

One feature that I like about the barrel is the contour. It is both functionally and aethestically pleasing to me. I tried to capture it with a couple of shots.

Overall, the Pelikano Junior is a great little fountain pen that should hold up to a lot of abuse. I think that this makes it a great pen for a child who is just learning to write, or for someone like me who keeps dropping it. Thanks again Tom. Nr
